Leslie is a 500hr Certified Therapeutic Specialist under the keen eye of Tiffany Cruikshank. Yoga Medicine teachers dedicate themselves to a higher standard of learning to evolve their expertise, magnify the therapeutic effects of the practice, and better serve their community. They focus on a deeper understanding of anatomy, physiology, and modalities from Eastern and Western medicine in addition to their applications to traditional yoga practices.
Leslie has a comprehensive understanding of the body and physiological function so she can create a personalized therapeutic yoga program for an individual at any level or style of practice. She loves incorporating MyoFascial Release and Mobility training in every class, her two non -negotiables.
Aside from her therapeutic training she also teaches Aerial Yoga to adults and youth, has a Ph.D in MetaPhysical Sciences for Spiritual Counseling, leads 200hr Teacher Trainings and Continuing Education programs. Leslie is a proud mother of two amazing boys, Preston and Zama, and a chiweenie, Yoko. She lives in the mountains of Northern California where she owns Oroville Yoga Center in town.
