What Cancer Cannot Do

Cancer is so limited....

It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot eat away peace.
It cannot destroy confidence.
It cannot kill friendship.
It cannot shut out memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot reduce eternal life.
It cannot quench the Spirit.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. It is the second leading cause of death among women, claiming the lives of more than 40,000 women in the U.S. alone each year. Although we have developed better ways to detect and treat the disease, doctors still do not know the exact cause of breast cancer and why one woman develops it and the next one doesn't. We give our special attention and love this month to those who suffer, have suffered and will suffer from breast cancer and their loved ones. Our hearts go out to you, and we pray for hope, joy, and healing in each of your lives.
