Sianna gave us a few minutes of her precious time to answer some personal questions we have just been dying to ask her, and we want to share them with you:

KiraGrace: Where is home for you?

Sianna: Venice beach and in my heart!

KG: Who or what influenced you to pursue a path in yoga?

S: I left the path of medical school for yoga because yoga showed me the promise of true happiness within myself. I was at a very tough place inside myself from the years of 13-20 years old and I needed to break free of my self-sabotage and transform my life. Yoga showed me the way of real change from within.

KG: You are an inspiration to so many others – where do you find your own inspiration?

S: The practices of yoga inspire me endlessly from within; being in nature, especially in the woods and with the ocean; mythology and the stories of saints, masters, and great beings; poetry; street art; contemporary dance and random acts of kindness that happen in the world every day.

KG: How much time do you spend on the road?

S: At the moment, almost 90% of my time is on the road.

KG: If you could share a meal with anyone, who would you chose and why?

S: Marianne Williamson is big in my heart right now. I want to hang out with her in a casual way and talk about life, love and spiritual activism.

KG: Who knows you best?

S: Me

KG: What is a challenge or goal that you aspire to accomplish this year?

KiraGrace Inspiration Team Member, Sianna Sherman leading her class.

S: a Greek island taverna on Santorini

KG: yoga festival or conference?

S: Tough call. They're all my favorite for different reasons; Bhakti Fest for devotion; Wanderlust for lighting up music and yoga in a big way; Yoga Journal for their outrageous commitment to yoga; Hanuman Festival for it's intimacy and deep soul practice... and so many more!
