A day where we remember how many people sacrificed their lives, so that we could have the many freedoms we enjoy today. It is a solemn day, but it is also a day to celebrate and honor the lives of these heroes and the families they've left behind. Some of you have lost grandfathers, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, or friends who have served our country. Our hearts are with you today and we thank you for the great sacrifice you've had to bear and wish you comfort and peace. You may not know someone personally who has died in the service, but that in no way lessens this day's significance. The life of one person is like a drop in a river - each one creates a powerful, beautiful ripple effect across the surface of the water. Our lives have all been impacted in tremendous ways by the men and women who's hands we may have never gotten the chance to shake. So let us remember those lives both known and unknown to us that have left their marks on our stories.
