There is an incomprehensible power in words. Words are made of fire. They can build or burn bridges, start or end wars. It is critical that we speak with intention and care because we cannot see the flames one tiny little word sparks.

At KiraGrace we love words and we recognize the weight they carry. Our office is decorated with all sorts of briliant quotes for every mood and life experience. Whether they make us laugh or cry or just help us get through the hours of the day, it is important to surround ourselves with little reminders that constantly bring us back to the truth of life and our place in it. Which is why we love to share them with you!

It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could. – Louise Erdrich

And if you touch that soft spot, you find the vast blue sky. You find that which is ineffable, ungraspable, and unbiased, that which can support and awaken us at any time. – Pema Chödrön

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? - Marianne Williamson

I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life... no matter what it is, go at it full speed ahead. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good. Hot is no good either. White hot and passionate is the only thing to be. – Roald Dahl

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. – Melody Beattie
