October brings in its wake not only a new month but a new and much needed season. As we welcome in crisp Autumn with her lovely shades and spirit, we nestle back to our roots. We take time to remember who we are, who we want to be, and why we are here. It is a season of reflection, a time to cherish those we love. We soften our hearts beneath the gentle kiss of fall, and find fresh strength in the promise that love conquers all. The presence of love melts fear and disarms hate; it creates unity, beauty and grace even in the darkest places. It is essential that we continuously and intentionally practice love over and over again – in our words, our actions, our thoughts, the way we see the world.
